This Beaux Arts office building has stood at the corner of Congress Avenue and Sixth Street in downtown Austin since 1910. Built by Texas banker and entrepreneur Major George Washington Littlefield, the building's nine stories gave the Littlefield the distinction of being the tallest skyscraper between New Orleans and San Francisco for a short time.
